This was the Beckett audition scene. Andrew says of the scene, “She thinks that she’s interrogating him and he thinks he’s on his first date.”
No one else had the inherent moxie that SK had.

"She thinks she's interrogating him and he thinks he's on their first date." I can see why they used this scene for the audition readings because it shows so much about their characters and pushing buttons.

Andrew says there was a network note that they were over promising the audience because it looked like they were going to end up in bed together far too soon.
Ha! So wrong. If they had fallen into bed in the second episode I'm sure I would have kept watching.
