castlekat on Sep 4, 2012, at 9:39pm: "That Titanic kiss.... yes. All that. And then some. I cannot watch that movie. I have seen it once. I WANT to watch it again, but I can't. Not unless I want a severe headache from serious crying, i.e. sobbing, by the time the credits roll. Anyway, the kiss. Yeah. It's all that, and a strawberry milkshake, too. And, with Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On'.... No words." Lisa C. on Sep 5, 2012, at 2:20am: "You know, I'm not one for crying at all. I'll let myself cry watching a movie or television show (Castle's got me many times) but ONLY if I'm alone. Seriously. I'm not sure what it is, but I developed an aversion to crying at a fairly young age and it's like I'm totally incapable of shedding a tear now in front of other people unless it's under VERY emotional circumstances (and it's only happened maybe three times in my entire life). To be honest, I've even been to funerals, some due to very tragic circumstances, and not been able to cry openly. Yet the first time I saw Titanic in the theatre (the first of MANY times), I went with a small group of my friends. I kept myself in check through a number of emotional moments, but when the ship began to sink and they were doing that montage of the passengers dealing with their certain demise in different ways (the mother who tucks her kids into bed and tells them a story, the older couple who lay down together holding hands for the last time, others running for their lives in panic, etc.), I absolutely started bawling. That lasted right up until the end of the credits and the end of "My Heart Will Go On". It was non-stop crying all the way through the last hour of that movie. When Rose watched Jack as the lifeboat she was on was lowered, thinking it was the last time she'd ever see him, when she then jumped off to be with him until the end (live or die), when the lifeboats floated around in the water as the havoc on the sinking ship could be seen and heard across the ocean, when the aftermath of the sinking was the most disturbingly sad silence as most of those who survived ended up freezing to death in the water, when Jack sacrificed his own life to save Rose when they couldn't both fit on the floating debris, when Rose let go of his hand and watched him sink into the dark water, when she then drew every ounce of strength to blow that whistle and save herself from certain death on the water, when she arrived in New York and gave the attendants Jack's last name as her own, when the older Rose finished telling her story to a room full of teary-eyed listeners, and when she threw the necklace out into the open water to end the movie... all of it had me bawling uncontrollably. I remember, very vividly, that I sat in my seat, unmoving and trying to control myself, right as the final credits were rolling. And, in that moment, I heard one of my friends lean over to one of the others and say "oh my god, is she crying??" as they were in shock. Of course, I followed that up with a Beckett-worthy glare and they knew never to mention it again "

Although as I get older I am finding it that I cry easier and I HATE IT! Anything that has to do with a mother and child will just get me in an instant though. My friends have been known to call me hard hearted Hannah because they would bawl during movies and I would sit and laugh at them and not cry. My how times change."

proudtvjunkie on Sep 6, 2012, at 3:40am: "I've always been a George Peppard fan so I love that someone posted Breakfast at Tiffany's and I obviously have to go and watch The Proposal. But one of my favorites has always been Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman in the Alfred Hitchcock film Notorious. In 1946 the censors forbade any onscreen kiss to last longer than 3 seconds. So they got around that by holding one another, and talking, and kissing over and over. Instead of 3 seconds we get about 3 minutes. The entire movie is one of my all time favorites."

@tinuvielundomiel on Oct 15, 2012, at 11:20pm: "I could post about a dozen of these.
RumBelle shipper all the way! Go to 13:43 for the first one, couldn't find a good clip of just the kiss.
Forgive the Spanish subtitles, this was the best one I could find.
This kiss from the movie The Lake House actually won Best Kiss at the MTV awards. Skip to 1:30 to see it. *java's notes: The original link was broken. I think it's this scene (skip to 2:00 if you don't want to watch them dancing).*
Star Wars is one of my favorite movies. And who can forget that first kiss between bad boy Han Solo and prim and proper Princess Leia?
My favorite Clark/Lois kisses from Smallville
I could do this all day. ;D "

Once Lana left the scene, the show got so much better. (Oh and in my head, Hurricane Lana never returned in Season 8, Power was by far my least favorite episode of ANY show ever!)

I was so sad when the movie ended. Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock have amazing chemistry. And Han and Leia! How could I forget that? I can't tell you how many times I watched that scene as a pre-teen/teen. It's just too embarrassing."
