Sunkrish Bala who played Vikram recently tweeted this:
"Hey guys, just wanted you to know that @12thprecinctcon has cancelled my appearance in Germany. I would have loved to meet all of you! Sad."
and...
"Thanks for the love, everyone! I have no idea why @12thprecinctcon cancelled so last minute. Very unprofessional."
The 12th Precinct Con later tweeted this. (The event will take place this June in Frankfurt Germany.)
Official announcement:
Because of the sellings of the 12thPrecinctCON we were forced to cancel Sunkrish Bala's participation. We spoke to his management about the sellings of the passes and extras and decided to cancel. The sellings can't unfortunately cover the expenses.
This decision was made because we can't have all actors at the convention if the sellings can't cover the expenses. There are a lot of actors who have gone trough a lot of scam with other companies about being paid after the convention. They were promised to get their money but weren't paid. However, we decided to go the honest way and canceled his participation.
Why did we decide now? Because there are deadlines and until this we hoped we still can have him at the convention. Yesterday in the evening we just told the management our decision when the actor already decided to tweet about it, a few minutes ago.
