Looks like there will be not one, but two more Nikki Heat novels in our future! The last book was so good, I only hope they can keep that going. In my opinion, the books turned out even better than the show. I love the Heat books but I also enjoy the Storm books. The second one they mention sounds like a crossover between the two series.
I'm still hoping they take your suggestion Christine and write the missing 7 years of Castle that we missed.

Great news! At least we'll still have the books for now. And hopefully "Castle" will write a preface telling fans how their recovering is going or maybe even sharing the news that Kate is pregnant:-). How old do you think Lily is?

I hadn't thought of that. The twins looked to be between 2 and 3 but Lily appeared to be about 6 so by that timeline Kate would either have to be pregnant when she was shot or not long after her recovery. |

So either Kate was pregnant and the baby wasn't harmed by the shooting or it was really a fast recovering for them. |

I'm really happy with that news. I saw the article and thoroughly enjoyed all previous books more than once. All previous books made best seller list so it is probably in their best interest to test the waters and see if stand alone novels will continue to be a moneymaker for them. I'm certainly happy to see 2 more especially if they are as good as the last one was. Happiness is a Nikki Heat novel in the fall!!!!!
