I wasn't going to watch this but my curiosity got the better me. You can smell the impending doom everywhere. I hope the two show runners can make this all work, but I have my doubts. God, how did we get to this? There is so much foreshadowing and non verbal communication going on in this short clip and it all points to something bad. I hope losing a show over this stupid LokSat crap was worth it.

I just watched both of the sneak peeks and I agree with Kman. This is going to be a trying episode to watch and I'm guessing that the ending variation will only be the last 5 minutes or so. It's hard to believe they'll be able to do a 180 from the angst of the bulk of the story to a satisfying ending. I'm choosing to remain hopeful though.

It's hard to believe they'll be able to do a 180 from the angst of the bulk of the story to a satisfying ending. I'm choosing to remain hopeful though. What is so nerve racking is that they are separated .....STILL.....and in an episode of this magnitude, with so much riding on it, how can they spend one minute apart. It all adds to the mystery and frustration of season 8. You can feel Beckett trying to calm Rick down in the second one and even she doesn't believe she is fine and Alexis's facial expression and Castle's vocal despair takes us into his mind and his daughter's and we get a Hitchcock type setting reinforcing the awful notion that all is not well. I can almost feel the nuse pulling tight on both of their necks as the second sneek concludes..... We could use 10 minutes for the ending....hope we get it.
