Castle Promo for Stana Katic's Exit Teases Tragic End to 'Epic Love Story'

That is what a nefarious character (LokSat?) warns Rick in the promo for Castle‘s Season 8 finale aka Stana Katic’s final episode.
As the previously released synopsis for the milestone episode, titled “Crossfire,” reads, “With their best lead in hand, Castle and Beckett are ready to take on LokSat. But an unforeseen twist puts their case — and their lives — in jeopardy.” Co-showrunner Alexi Hawley in turn said that if Castle is renewed by May 13, the finale will end in a “dynamic” way that allows the show to move forward in a slightly altered incarnation — translation: minus a cast member or two. (If Castle is announced as cancelled, meanwhile, an alternate ending will be swapped into the finale.)
