So I recently decided to join Sigma Tau Delta or The English Honors Society. Tonight was our induction ceremony, something I have been looking forward to for over a month now. I was super nervous but, I had a lot of fun. I also volunteered to be on the chapter's executive board for next year and was placed as Historian, so I was also sworn in tonight. Here are a couple of photos from the evening 
This one is at the moment of induction. They placed the stole over my shoulders as they handed me my certificate and pin. I'm standing between one of the head Professors of our chapter and this year's President.
This was my swearing in moment. The photo album is representative of my part as Historian as I am to collect our memories of the coming year, which should be pretty exciting as our chapter along with the English Club have a lot of guest writers come and speak at our University. I'm listening to the same Professor as he finishes the swearing in.
