For me, it was kind of a ho-hum episode with a undercurrent of melancholy knowing what we know. That said, guest star Jonathan Silverman turned in a great performance as Alan Masters. I just wish it hadn't been overshadowed by real life circumstances. My review: www.tvfanatic.com/2016/04/castle-season-8-episode-19-review-dead-again/I'd love to hear what your think. Thanks.

I thought you did a great job, Christine, knowing what we all know. I felt Rick was way too much. Kate and he looked stilted in their scenes together. Lastly, I thought they were starting to set us up for Kate's demise. She's off again to slay dragons, only this time it will end horribly. I feel she has to die in order for them to have a S9. Realistically, what else can they do with her??

I thought one of the comments after the review was spot on. In view of all the talk out there, don't you wonder why on earth Nathan and Stana were even willing to do a season 8? Oh, to have left it at Hollander's Woods .........

Oh, to have left it at Hollander's Woods ......... I've thought the same thing. I know money talks but with seven seasons and a syndication deal, both of them must be doing quite well financially. Why sign back on for season 8 if working with your partner makes you miserable? Unfortunately, these are questions to which we may never get answers.

They both indicated they wanted to go out on top. I guess one more season with pay raises was just too enticing.

Good review. You captured pretty much everything I felt about the episode.

I agree should of ended with Hollanders Woods and to go out on top with Marlowe, and to think there is a season 9 coming, I cannot and do not want to figure out why they are continuing.
