I think I've got this one. Season 2, Episode 18, Boom.

Castle entered Kate's apartment after the explosion to rescue her and found her naked, curled up in her bathtub. She ordered him not to look and he said he wasn't peeking as he offered her his coat. All of the towels were on fire.

Yup that it
They were going to show this 2 part episode on Sunday and Monday original but then switched it back to a week apart on Monday. We had to wait to see if Kate survived.
