They finished filming episode 8x21 today. Stana tweeted 2 hours ago that she had just read thru 8x22. There is still no title or writers listed anywhere. She said her script had her name watermarked all over the pages. Looks like they want to keep this final a big secret and they are making sure no one leaks anything. I found it interesting that they will start filming this tomorrow and she just got the script tonight? I just have a hard time thinking about this being a job where they just show up and read lines and they don't want to know what happens next? Or that they wouldn't want/need to prepare how they will do a scene?
That's what Nathan says every time he is asked about Castle. He keeps saying he just shows up , they tell him where to stand and what to say. It's just a job...
I saw "Hollander's Woods", last year's season final again tonight on TNT. That would have been a sweet way to finish this series. It was so well done. They gave everyone a chance to say goodbye and look at what might happen in the future but left it open. I still say Andrew and Terri wanted to be able to revisit the Castle's down the road a few years from now. That will never happen now.
I am beginning to get a bad feeling about the final.

I agree "Hollanders Woods" would of been a wonderful way to end the series it was a very good episode, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

This is playing out like a Greek Tragedy. Are they smiling or angry? For all the missed scenes, the horrible episodes, the crappy LokSat Arc, the stupid separation, the missing of crucial episodes, I think the show runners have been shown the door and now they must suck face and figure out what to do. I hope the Beckett character isn't dis honored anymore, but I get a real bad feeling as well . I just don't see Stana staying around and this may their way of not letting her spill the beans on how it all shakes down.
Hollanders Woods was the perfect ending. I am not so sure they can resurrect this. The damage has been done. But I also am getting a bad vibe that Kate is going to have a nervous breakdown. I mean her mom has been avenged.... I guess we find out why Vicki called her cause he sure didn't know her at the time. Bring it on ...lets just strap in and see what happens. It's ironic that even the actors are being played like fools now. This better be good.

Deep breaths, everyone. Deep breaths. We have no hard evidence for anything awful happening, just speculation based on things we've seen. We all know how misleading those things can be. I don't have any feelings one way or the other. Will just watch and see what happens. If it's not good, then I'll be an emotional mess. If it's good, then I'll be glad I didn't expend any energy being concerned about something that didn't happen.

I'm feeling very much the same as CL66. This season I've seen my passion for the show replaced by acceptance. What will be, will be and no amount of my fussin' or stewin' will change that. I'll watch and react to what they present.

It's just so sad that none of us really have any hope for a good ending to a show we have lived for so long. The actor can't help but know how fandom feels. I'm not holding out hope. If they kill Kate or write her off I might just shut off ABC. I think they mishandled this so badl.
