An uptick with viewers. Probably because of DWTS. 1.1 in the demo and 6.5 million viewers. NCIS LA 1.3 and 8.76 million. Blindspot 1.5 and 5.89 million.

Castle is at least staying steady at 1.1 Their numbers always go up for the DVR numbers. I think it helps that Castle has a contract for syndication. Also the books add to the revenue. They only have one more episode to film for season 8 so either contacts are being signed or they will give us a hasty goodbye.

I will take whatever we can get. 6.5 , although not the 1.1 is up from last show and if it gets to 7 and the demo goes to 1.2 or 1.3... Well, you may have to pray to the renewal gods, but it may give them a shot at renewal, providing all the stars align and sign their contracts.
Who knows? It's up to DVR +3/7 and the fans...old and new. The new fans are so important now because Castle has a solid fan base but they are older...so new blood can't hurt. Keep your fingers crossed and the keep momentum going.
IMOHO, 6.5 is music to my ears

I think it is getting to be a moot point. The networks do not like old which is weird if you think about it. Some of us old retired folks have a few bucks and the time to watch their shows. Go figure.

I don't know what to think anymore about renewals or the ratings....
