Seriously, who eats or have eaten kale for breakfast?
Ahem, I have. 4-8 eggs over medium and something green, usually spinach, drizzled with olive oil and nuked in the microwave because I'm too lazy to steam it in the morning. In the winter when kale is readily available, I sub the spinach with kale. Sometimes I'll make a kale + banana + mint + strawberry + protein powder shake instead but I rather eat my calories. No, I don't think kale is offensive at all, Mia.
But usually always eggs if I'm eating breakfast. A dozen eggs won't last long with me in the house. To paraphrase Esposito, "Bro, I work out."
What's usually on your breakfast menu? Kale? Anything unusual you care to share?

Eggs with a piece of my homemade whole wheat bread, toasted. 4 oz. of OJ so I can swallow my multivitamin. A cup of tea.

I despise kale. Can't stand the stuff.
Breakfast is hit or miss for me. It depends if there's enough time before running the rugrat off to school. More often than not, breakfast turns into an early lunch that I have while I'm writing.
Generally it's two pieces of bacon and a homemade smoothie. Lately the smoothies have either been raspberry or apple with ginger. Both recipes are pretty similar: Fruit, ice, almond milk, half a bannana (I eat the other half), spinach, and a little bit of honey.

Kale seems to be one of those foods that garner a strong reaction across the board. And either you like it or don't. Although, I"ve heard others say it's an acquired taste, much like maybe coffee. Or cilantro.
Speaking of cilantro.... now that's the stuff I can't even PRETEND to like. And will avoid most salsa because of it.
Anyway, back to kale.
Favorite ways to have it is either kale chips (home-made), in soup, or in a mixed green salad with cranberries, almonds & hard-boiled egg, with a balsamic or white wine vinaigrette.
If you don't like kale, no sweat. Lots of other greens out there from which to choose. I do try to get my share of power greens, and find the need to change things up regularly. Much like I like to change my family room furniture around. lol....

Kale...don't think so... We had breakfast burritos today. I threw in sweet peppers, ham, left over potatoes, cheese, eggs.

I know many people 'hide' things in smoothies, I'm just not a smoothie girl. Wish I was. Kinda. I'm like Java in the sense that I'd rather eat my calories. More satisfying. Or something. Maybe it's just psychological.
Anyway, they are the miracle food for busy schedules. If I were on the run, I'd probably have to resort to them, too.
Now bacon.... not even going to say how much I consume......

I despise kale. Can't stand the stuff. I usually prefer a mix of greens. A homogeneous mix of greens is boring and should be left to golf courses and lawns. Typically, I like to think of my salad as a hunk of protein on a bed of greens.

Much better than parsley which reminds me of an unmentionable joke in one of the "Truly Tasteless Jokes" book series. Don't ask. Zucchini. Not a fan.

Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards LOVE breakfast tacos but that's from a childhood spent down in San Antonio. Never understood donuts + coffee for breakfast when you can have bacon and eggs, chorizo and eggs, or potato and eggs taco with salsa (and cilantro!).

Eggs for breakfast, most definitely....one of nature's finest foods both nutritionally and tastewise.
Kale...NOOOOOOOOOO not for breakfast. But I do like kale soup with cannelloni beans in chicken stock, yummy! (Did you know if you throw out kale on the compost pile -- because someone has given you what seems like a bushel basket-worth and there's only so much soup you can make -- that it will still be good a couple months later, even with frost and snow? True story...I spied some nice green leaves on one of my trips to the compost pile, brushed the snow off, checked them out, they looked perfect, so I made another batch of soup!!!!!!!!!!!)
Cilantro...CANNOT have my guac, pico de gallo, carnitas or ANYTHING Mexican without the taste of cilantro, yummy.
Parsley...I like flat-leaf for various things.
Zucchini can be good ... shredded zucchini "pancakes" with parmesan cheese (admittedly I try only to use baby zucchini)....monster zucchini is good in desserts.
