I'm probably the only one watching this series on this board because it's not warm, fuzzy, romantic, nor positive. These are people running for their lives in a post zombie apocalypse while attempting at times to hold onto their humanity. It is brutal, graphic, and depressing at times yet I'm glued to it. Season 5 ended with a bang and the season 6 premiere and 6x02 did not skip a beat.
But it's more than a show about zombies. This is a show about the human spirit and it will challenge you with scenarios that beg the question: "Would I do that to survive?" The show also touches human decency, mercy, faith, darkness, savagery, brutality, and justice. How do you live in a world when all is lost? In this last episode, the answer is simply to surround yourself with people worth dying for.
What a show.

I got caught up watching a couple of season 6 episodes with one of my daughters. Ended up watching all the seasons so I was caught up to the mid season premier last week. It sounds like a dumb show with the zombies and all, but it's not. It is about surviving and facing your mortality. I love it and recommend it to anyone!!! So Java if you need someone to talk about it, I will!
