I agree, I am going to watch both together during the week, but at least now they are working together, but I can see how this can go for the whole season, so many story lines opening up

I believe somewhere in the interviews, etc for this season, it was mentioned that the premiere was going to open a new storyline/mythology that would be re-visited occasionally throughout the season? Have to go back and look at some of those again.
