I always wonder about Nathan & Stana. Not to open a can of worms, but they are never seen together promoting the show. It went from okay, to awkward, to obviously something not good, to worse. They have such magnificent chemistry on screen, so it makes me wonder, if they are not really friends outside of work...how does that happen? I am not a Stanathan, never have been. But color me confused. Not that I dwell on it. To each their own lives. But it is a curious thing when you see those such as the leads of Bones having no problem being together to promote the show. Stana was the Queen shipper. I guess she is a master at keeping the two "lives" separate.
Stephen has also made it clear that he was a fierce Olicity shipper and that he was eager with every script handed to him if that was the episode where that would come to fruition. They have serious chemistry on screen, and, unlike Nathan & Stana, seem to enjoy promoting the show together.
Excuse the rambling thoughts. All this is to say, agree with you.

It's gonna be an interesting story if told someday. As lovey-dovey as the were in interviews at the very beginning, you just have to wonder what happened. I would love to know if they were ever romantically interested in each other at first. I just don't think seven years of everyday would turn them into the awkward they are now. Bored maybe, but not weird. I've been told that if you are like Lindberg and are flying your plane to Paris from New York, if you are off by one compass point you end up in the Mediterranean. Nathan and Stana are great people, but they aren't identical - personality wise - so over this period of time, maybe their few compass points difference has turned into what has become these vastly different destinations. As far as Stephen and Emily are concerned, Arrow just came a few years late. I would NEVER propose the breakup of any marriage...but I would be willing to bet that those two would be just as hot a couple off screen as Ollie and Felicity are on screen. For the sake of Stephen's daughter as well as his wife, I hope that shaft stays in the quiver. |

You know it would have probably involved more work, but they probably could have gotten a lot more milage out of the MTV best chemistry award by doing more with the Olicity summer than they have been. |

I think I am going backwards on my opinion of the new suit. New "high-tech" does't seem to work with the hood - from my view.
I think I would almost rather have the Robin Hood GA hat.
Kidding.

And Felicity with a machine gun................ *DYING LAUGHING* But yes, she HAS been her own kind of bad-ass, yeah, "since always".... LOVE IT!
I think I'm going to like that new assistant. He seems... fun. Thea, hmm..... growing pains.
On the fence about the suit. Seems to over-the-top right now. Agree. He needs the high-tech, without the intimidating look. I know it makes him look all cool & "upgraded" & all, but right. Haven't decided yet.
REALLY excited for this season! This and Castle...and I also watch Downton Abbey & Sherlock. My youngest son is trying to get me to watch Daredevil, and hubs is trying to get me to watch Blacklist. So many shows, so little time!
Thanks for the trailer! More excited than ever! I've been busy this summer, so haven't been cued into the spoilers as in recent summers!

Really looking forward to the next one this winter when Benny and Martin do a stand-alone retro Sherlock in the original Victorian era. Instant classic. Haven't watched Daredevil yet. Heard it's good. I've watched Blacklist and liked it. Kinda lost track this spring. Not sure I've asked you this, but do you watch the Flash? |
