Don't mean to be trespassing here - in a thread about something I know nothing of - but I just couldn't let RH get away with his comment about being chiseled out of pudding! Sweet .......... satisfying .......... slippery .............

OH GOSHHHH, RH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU for this! I have seen a few of these, but not all, and you can bet I will be watching them all tonight. I'm about to make a cup of tea and "dig" in... hee hee hee... Speaking of Dig... I ADORE him! The brother/friend/protector bond he has with both Oliver and Felicity warms my heart. He's such a big, protective, lovable bear with bowling ball upper arms. And his smile is the sweetest! Really, really glad he's not going anywhere. LOVE his character! And, I just have to say, not to stir any pot... but I really like, even though Stephen Amell is married, how he & Emily Bett Rickards interact off-screen. They appear to adore each other, and love how they can display affection for one another. I love how they are serious shippers for their characters, and it is so refreshing to see them all delight in each other's company. Not complaining, but it would be so heart-warming if our dynamic duo were afforded the same freedom. They are, really, but don't engage. I know some fans would always read too much into it, but it's nice how Stephen & Emily don't let that deter them from their off-screen friendship. Anyway, carry on. Thanks so much for the link!

In the vein of wondering about co-star relations...(thinking about Nathan and Stana as well as Stephen and Emily...) I Googled "actors falling in love with their co-stars." Wow. Lots of interesting articles. I do know that Stephen appears to love his wife and adores is baby daughter. Even so, having to do a love scene with someone other than your significant other, (especially when nudity is involved) must be a strain on all parties involved. It can't make Stephen's wife happy to see the Olicity attention and fandom wanting to see Stephen and Emily together. And I know it's an old conversation, but it brings me back to what happened to Nathan and Stana to get this weird, uneasy vibe I'm feeling from them now.

What do all you Arrowheads think of the new outfit for this year? As opposed to the old one on the right? If you want to see the ComiCon sizzler for this:

Oh my......thanks for that RH!
As for the outfit, I'm partial to the original I think. But then, either is fine if they show off his, ummmm, assets!

This is an unauthorized RH drive-by posting. The new costume is kinda OK. One large costuming oversight...and probably only archers would get this, but...the new suit doesn't have sleeves. Only forearm guards that protect the OUTSIDE of his arms...probably for blocking and defending. But for you lovelies that love those muscular arms...the bowstring could take some serious skin off that left inside forearm. But you might say "Why Richard...doesn't he know how to shoot that thing without hitting his arm?" Standing in line, motionless at the Nottingham Grand Archery Contest...maybe. Shooting while crouching and rolling and running on rooftops? NOPE.

I haven't even looked at the new costume for arrow. Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards

What do all you Arrowheads think of the new outfit for this year? As opposed to the old one on the right? If you want to see the ComiCon sizzler for this: The new looks more Bad-@$$, but I"m still partial to the old. Chalk it up to me liking "old/vintage/original" things, and don't always go for the "new & improved" version. Depends. The original just seems so honest or something. Dunno. Oh well, I will embrace whatever they bring us. Looking forward to all the excitement, drama and shenanigans that are sure to ensue! Touching on your drive-by comment -- I totally think it would be difficult to do intimate scenes with someone, married or not, as just a job. I know they're paid to do that, and to be convincing, but I think it would lead to either serious feelings for their "partner in crime" or perhaps, an aversion to them. I think it would be very difficult to be the spouse of one who does that for a living. As much as I'm not a jealous person, they make themselves pretty darn convincing in their roles. Maybe it's a mind-game the spouses have to place with themselves. Pretending what they're seeing isn't real. Or is it? Yeah.

Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards I posted it above when you get time to see it. I would think that the lack of an armguard would actually be a real issue for him. Although most of his rapid-fire arrows are CGI, the release of the bowstring isn't - thus the real need. Im willing to bet that there will be a few times that that some makeup will need to be applied to his forearm to hide the red whelp. I know no one else will care, but as an archer I cringe knowing that often, when shooting those CGI arrows, he is dry-firing that bow. Not sure about todays technology but, in the past, it's not good for your bows. And is anyone else disappointed a little bit that Felicity can pull back that bow? I know that it's a compound and not a recurve, but still the draw weight should be a little stouter than that. To me that's like saying she can do the salmon ladder, too.

That's why I think maybe Ms. Amell should be concerned. And Stana's hubby shouldn't.
