LOL, no worries geezer2008. It seemed odd to put my name down on the list and then I sort of forgot about it. Thanks so much for the birthday wishes. It's an interesting time to have a birthday. No party, but I'm not big into those anyway. And the local ice cream parlor where I usually get an ice cream cake is closed but my favorite local Italian restaurant just reopened for take-out and catering orders so we got enough chicken and eggplant parmigiana to have tonight and then freeze the rest for later! It was interesting. They posted their limited menu on their Facebook page. You had to order over the phone and pay by credit card. When you get to the restaurant, only the vestibule is open. There's a big table where they've placed your order with your name on it and a sign asking you to sign the credit card slip and leave it in a jar on the table. The owner stands about 10 feet away in the doorway and asked if we had everything and thanked us for ordering. So I probably won't have cake this year but at least I've got one of my favorite dinners.  |

Happy Birthday Christine!!! Your dedication and compassion are appreciated. I don't have the time I used to have to participate but I remember all the good times and great people. You are among the very best.

Oh, and although the ice cream parlor and local bakery were closed, my Dad did get a cake from the grocery store. It was chocolate and very good. Thanks again everyone for the well wishes. They've helped brighten my day.  |
