My daughter had to postpone her wedding. The governor of Nevada ordered all casinos to close. She picked a date in July. Hopefully things will be open by then. Her sister had planned to have her shower this Saturday, but needless to say, that will be moved back to June. I feel so bad for her. If all else fails, she may have to go to the courthouse in Phoenix to get married.

I'm so sorry for you and your daughter, DrvrTrnr! My hope is that by July she'll be able to have the wedding of her dreams and then for the rest of her life have an interesting story to tell about how her wedding had to be postponed during these crazy times. Fingers crossed we all get through this as quickly and easily as possible. |

Fingers crossed we all get through this as quickly and easily as possible. My husband and I have said our kids will have stories to tell their kids one day (if they have any) about the virus of 2020. My mother-in-law used to say "And this too shall pass" whenever we experienced difficult situations. How right she was and we try to keep hope alive. |

Our daughter's company got smart. She can work from home for next 6 weeks, then they will reevaluate Our oldest daughter works for the state and as of Thursday has to work from home. The schools are closed until April 10 at the earliest, so other state workers will probably follow the schools' lead. The Arizona/Mexico border is now closed. Mexico is our biggest trading partner so both economies will suffer. With spring training canceled, our tourism industry is also suffering. Hard times for all. Grocery shelves become more empty by the day. In spite of all of this, we will get through it. |
