This was a different episode with all of the same footage being rerun over and over. Also we saw Castle crushed with Kate's revelation that she did indeed "remember everything" from when she was shot. Things were never the same after this reveal for Castle.

The FBI commandeers the NYPD detectives for little more than leg work after a bomb explodes during an anti-globalist demonstration. Castle is asked by the captain as sharp observer. Sifting through mountains of witness depositions, he sets the 12th precinct team on the right track after the FBI arrests the wrong suspect.

I tried to get a puzzle from the scene where Castle is looking thru the glass as Kate reveals to the suspect that she remembered but it was just too dark. Instead we see one of the last times Castle brings Kate coffee for awhile. She noticed the next time he showed up after He heard her say she remebered without coffee for her.

This episode always bugged me in that Rick got SO angry over Kate's secret when he had his own dirty secret. I thought he was being kind of a hypocrite.

A hypocrite and a coward. Perhaps that's what bothered me the most as the seasons went on, they were both cowards when it came to their feelings for one another.

Yes it was amazing how they could finish each other's sentences and yet had no clue what secrets they both held. Communication is a big part of any good relationship. When they started keeping secrets it was the start of their downfall.
