6 Feb. 2012 The Blue Butterfly Castle senses a detective mystery manuscript found in the effects of a murdered modern-day treasure hunter is the key trough the jewel at stake, a blue diamonds-composed blue butterfly necklace. As the team works out the story situated in 1947 in the same now derelict music club, then Manhattan's place to be, involving murder, gangsters and theft, they work out the true parts and identities of culprits and victims. This was one of the only special episodes that we got of this quality. they got Rob Bowman's Dad, Chuck, to direct this episode. There were so many fun things in this episode. Just the costumes were amazing. Castle in the fedora, was special. Lanie singing , hey what happened to the season 7 musical episode that Andrew said we would get?? With so many singers in the cast this would have been so fun to see a musical episode. Oh well... Rob Duncan playing the piano in the bar, they boys getting to toss Castle around, Alexis getting to use her Texas drawl, Martha getting to not wear her red wig, they all had a lot of fun in this episode for sure! This made the best puzzle: www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=1b83995c6473Here is an extra puzzle: www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=1c825cca9fa2

Loved the end scenes with Rick and Kate talking to the wonderful older couple and each other. There was also a great scene where Rick and Kate were standing by a staircase and Rick said a remark that he really meant but had to quickly cover it up when Kate gave him a "look".

One of my favorite episodes of the whole series! I even made a Blue Butterfly quilt to celebrate it! I thought the writing of this script was stellar, the way the two times were woven together and so many themes played out parallel to each other. I agree that it was all the more special having Rob Duncan in it and Tamala singing. I believe they told us that the people in the club dancing were also crew members. Tycho, the first pic made an excellent puzzle and the bonus one reminded me of how much Tamala raved about the softness of Nathan's lips! Yowsa!
