ABC is normally pretty consistent about the reruns for Castle. They normally pick a night and stick to it. We can probably count on Sundays at 10 throughout the summer. They like to test markets and shows on certain nights to get a feel for the response and viewers. Not saying they would ever move there permanently, but it gives the Brass at ABC, who have taken this show over, a chance to think about the direction of Castle as they move forward. But I think for now, it gives you the stability to know you can count on it at 10 on Sundays.

Not too concerned about the rerun schedule since I have most of the season DVR'd so can watch that way. But what I really want to know is when the DVDs are due out. I like to listen to the commentaries and see the bloopers & defeated scenes, plus no commercials. ABC seems to be dragging their feet on release dates for all the latest season DVDs, can't find anything on their web site about any of the shows I watch.

You're right ddcnj. They usually release the dvds in late September but they've yet to give a date this year. I've got my Amazon account set up to alert me when a release date is announced but it hasn't happened yet. |
