I'm going to start posting the summary of the episode to let you remember the episode if you need that. This summary is from IMDb Juror #7 Joe McKusick, who runs a halfway house, drops dead cyanide-poisoned during Otis Williams's high-profile trial for the murder of heiress Lyla Addison, which is thus declared a mistrial. Juror #4 Tony Mueller runs, possibly bribed, but claims he believed Otis's cousin Wardell, who approached him implying a set-up, poisoned Joe, which fits security footage, and he'd be next. Wardell claims to be framed too. The cyanide came not from the court house vending machine coffee but was released from a capsule. The plot thickens further, especially with two malversations within Justice. This episode let us see the great Dad again that Castle was to Alexis. I loved that they were showing some examples of great parenting where this Dad sat down , undistracted, and listened to his teenage daughter and her issues. So many TV shows just show teens going crazy and parents not helping the situation. www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=084a27a57f81

Puzzle was fun but not one of my favorite episodes.

Thanks for the puzzle, tycho. Agree with you, Castle was a very good father! But in this episode, he also tracked Alexis's phone. I think it's not very glorious.

Maybe not the best move on Castles part but rather than getting angry at being caught tracking her phone he apologized and took it off in front of her. Trust and learning moment for all.

I love the way Castle would show his respect for Alexis. Even though he was "the boss of her" as her father, doing what he had to do as a parent until he was satisfied she would make wise choices, he always showed her respect. And apologized and ate crow when the situation warranted. And didn't back down when he clearly was in the right as a parent.
I think that showing your children respect, even in the midst of discipline and being the parent, is important.
