The ABSENTIA team beautifully and cohesively and supportively represented and credited one another and their show and SONY and the Monte Carlo TV Festival--as Tycho, marshg indicate--and as shown on many Facebook, Twitter, and I'm sure, other links, which one can find and despite tycho67's best, caring efforts--thank you, tycho aka Teresa, I can't manage to note aka "cite"!!!
Many--cast, crew, team, fans,... spoke of Stana's "other centeredness" and support of her colleagues as actor/member of a talented, international cast, crew, and team--despite questions about working as lead actor and as an executive producer; of her interested, involved, "focused on others," responses with festival interviews and functions and with fans!!! They also spoke highly of filming in beautiful Bulgaria, of their, when their busy, working schedule allowed, often together celebrations, EG of events like birthdays and of adventures, like visiting escape rooms!!! One can find numerous accounts and photographs, even including photos with Stana's husband, Kris!!!
Patrick Heusinger, the actor who played her husband also spoke of his and Stana's chemistry, of his enjoyment in working with her, and of having played one of the best scenes of his career with her!!!
Festival, interviews of many, and photos doubtless continue!!! Non-spoiler accounts of ABSENTIA are positive and excited!!!

Her co-star Patrick Heusinger interview. He plays her husband "Nick Durand".
He was asked about his guest appearance on Castle. He was the killer in "Number One Fan" Season 6 episode 4. I went back and looked and he was right, he never had a scene with Stana. All of his scenes are with Ryan and Espo. He never met Stana before this series. He said it was funny that he played the killer on Castle and also on Bones and they aired the same night.

Here are two more actors from the series Neil Jackson & Cara Theobold. Cara was Ivy Stuart in Downton Abby for 15 episodes. She is the new wife that "Emily"'s husband marries after they think she is dead.
They don't list the name for Neil's character so I think he must be one of her captors?
CastleFanGran thinks I believe that Neil Jackson plays Stana's/Emily's adoptive brother!?

These are two of the executive producers Oded Ruskin & Maria Feldman. Stana also was listed as an executive producer. It looks like Oded also was the director.

Hi everyone! Tycho - thank you for posting these interviews. I won't comment on Stana's because, you know, it's Stana. If she is asked interesting, intelligent questions, you get a really good interview. Have to say that the interviewer appears to be a Stana fan as she asked everyone what it was like to work with her! Patrick Heusinger, like Stana seems to listen to the question then think about his answer before he gives it. I found his take on his character very interesting. So something he said makes me wonder if despite the fact that Emily was pronounced dead he never gave up on finding her? The fact that he is with her when she wakes up. If he is broken is that because he feels guilty that he has moved on with his life and that he has never stopped loving her? Also found the interview with Angel Bonanni & Ralph Ineson interesting because they feel that there is still story left to tell after those 10 episodes. Everyone seemed really pleased with how things have turned out, the reaction from those who have seen it so far and the experience of working as a team. B.  |

Another interview with Stana. She seemed to be very relaxed for this interview. The screening and pomp was finished so she could have fun. Looking back at this festival Nathan was invited in 2012 to promote Castle. Too bad they didn't let Stana come too. I'm not sure if this will show up as it was from a facebook post by the guy who did the interview. If not and you are on twitter go to Stana's twitter and the link is there.
