This was the last poker game with Stephen Cannell. I asked Rob Bowman if we were going to get anymore poker games as fans loved them. He said that Stephen was a writer and an actor. Without him it would be hard to do another poker game. He did figure out a way to do a poker game when we got the new writer who came to Castle as a mentor.

I think Stephen Cannell was a great influence on the development of the show. His great knack for developing memorable characters was a wonderful model for Andrew and Rob. I loved the poker games!
