If you started watching in the first season this is where it could have all ended. We didn't know if it would return for a 2nd season. This is where Castle tells Beckett what he found in his search for her Mother's murderer. www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=2936534343a6

You're so right, Tycho! I remember how desperate I was to see the show get picked up for a second season. I emailed ABC a gazillion times talking about what a fantastic show it was. Though it ended badly IMO, I'll never, ever regret all the enjoyment it brought into my life.

I think there are a lot of us who feel as you do, Nathanfan. It was my all time favorite show til the wheels fell off. RATS, tycho, you're giving me the urge to watch those seasons that were pure magic again. I think I know what I'll be doing when January hits Green Bay. LOL

Yes, the first seasons were magic. I still enjoy watching those seasons on TNT when I want to watch something in the afternoon. We will always have those wonderful episodes to remember how amazing this show was. I was watching the series final of Rizzoli & Illes tonight and it made me so sad when I thought of how this was how Castle should have ended. They gave each cast member a chance to say goodbye. They knew this was the last season and gave it a wonderful send off.

Isn't this the scene where Kate tells him about how she falls down the rabbit hole when it comes to her mother's case and that she was in therapy for a year trying to let go of the obsession? I love the confused look on Castle's face here. He really thought he was going to get to play hero; that with this new information he'd uncovered that they'd work together and solve her mother's murder. What the reality of this case is for her never even occurred to him and he's completely blindsided by her reaction and her demand to leave it alone or they're done.

I love watching the all of the older episodes of Castle and even now I see things I never saw prior. Love this show and still am so disappointed on how it ended. I dream of what could of been, and feel so sad...
