These early episode are filled with so many things that built the characters for the viewers. This is the place where Beckett tells Castle she a "one and done" kind of girl. Up until episode 522 I believed this about her character. www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=1f551fdff078i will try and post a new puzzle in order of the episodes every Monday. I might have more than one for a few episodes.

The more, the better. What were they thinking (or not) destroying her in 623. If Marlow hadn't taken that direction, we might still be enjoying Castle.

I very much agree with you. 623 was the beginning of the end IMO. They started to lose fans in large numbers when they did not give us the wedding we so richly deserved.

There were some great moments in this episode! One thing that was monumental was that Castle's respect for Kate and how she handled people grew exponentially after he watched her talk the young girl into dropping the knife before she hurt herself or someone else. The more he saw Kate in action, the more he was in awe of her abilities. I also LOVED the old guy who answered the apartment door and thought Kate wanted to have sex with him! That was hysterical and the scene also showed up on the blooper reel.

And let's not forget the amazing scarf wardrobe. They had some serious love for scarves in season 1.
