Guess they went with the ruggedly handsome Castle picture. Those were the same words they used in the pilot about Castle that Connelly said.
Maya tweeted that she wanted Nathan to give a speech at her wedding. She said she cried every take that Nathan did for this speech. Terri and Andrew said that they wrote this speech together.
This would have been an amazing ending if the show had to end with this.
Nathan tweeted that every time Juliana said her line he laughed.

Yup they got to let many of the writers and crew extras dress up and fill the tables for the last scene. I did see pictures before. Michael Connelly even wrote something on his FB page about being in the episode. The table where Michael sat also had Terri and Andrew and the Creasey's. I think there were other writers but I haven't gone back and looked closer yet.

For a finale ... I think I really liked the episode.
Still saddened that Hodges was the killer.
I would have really liked to know what Kate would have decided before the episode was over but I guess this way it leaves it semi ambiguous to what we might expect in the fall
