Actually I enjoyed that episode too. I thought that Kate really looked and acted like the Captain

Didn't we see that story back in Season 2? Not that I recall. Any idea which episode you're thinking of?

It's sad because this is what I was hoping Castle season 9 would be like.

This was a good episode. One of the best of the season.

Didn't we see that story back in Season 2? Not that I recall. Any idea which episode you're thinking of? Wrapped Up In Death.....Castle and the mummy. He looked at the mummy and then there was the whole thing about him being cursed and all of the stuff that happened, the dog ripping his pants among other things. There were a couple of quick shots in next week's preview that reminded me of that episode.

Ok, so El Oso ( the bear.) escaped prison. Is he Locksat? Ties in with Vulcan Simmons(drugs), and Bracken killed in jail(connection). Someone who is a ghost, and is wanted by everyone. Now Castle will be in danger. What a set up for her to sacrifice herself for him. Both Beckett and El Oso die in the end, and Castle is left standing. Final scene Mirrors, Montgomery's funeral with him telling her he loves her. God, I hope I'm wrong.

I finally saw the episode. :: grumbles about work scheduling that conflicts with watching either of her Monday shows ::
Nice to see Jewel Staite in the ep. Besides Seah Maher, Ron Glass, Alan Tudyk and Morena Baccarin ., we've seen most of the cast of Firefly on Castle.
Good episode but still saddened about what's to come.
